Dignity Foundation has been working for senior citizens since 1995, offering them an enriching set of opportunities.
We deal with the elderly’s psycho-social challenges and help them tackle their loneliness and insecurities, thereby bringing joy back into their lives.
Our Leadership
We believe that leadership is never singular. It starts with our managing team that is designed to provide thought leadership to all the programmes which we initiate in our 6 city chapters.

Obstacles to Productive Ageing
Lack of infrastructure to care for the elderly
Lack of physical infrastructure such as care homes or even public ramps for those needing wheelchairs access. In addition, there is little public or private financial support for the elderly.
Elder abuse
For many Indian senior citizens their problems lie at home. Elder abuse is quite prevalent in the form of physical, psychological and economic abuse or neglect and isolation.
Loneliness
Increase in nuclear families and foreign migration of youngsters lead to the abandonment of senior citizens, who are left to live alone; leading to loneliness, depression and suicidal tendencies.
Our Culture
At Dignity Foundation, our work is driven by five crucial values – Equality, Simplicity, Positive thinking, Self-belief and Perseverance.
