Dignity Film Festival was hosted in Nandan from 2 nd April to 6 th April' 2010. To support the mission of Dignity Foundation, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal send his message and generously given the Nandan auditorium to support the cause. The classics of legendary actress Suchitra Sen were shown in this festival
The Hon'ble Minister of Social Welfare Sri Biswanath Chowdhury inaugurated first ever Film Festival dedicated to the senior citizen of Kolkata on 2 nd April, 2010. He addressed the gathering and stressed upon the need to do more for the life enrichment of senior citizens particularly in the rural areas also. However, he appreciated the good efforts being put in by the foundation in making the lives of the senior citizens more productive and enriching.
Mr. Avijit Ghosh GM is addressing the gathering on the occasion of the Dignity Film Festival which was organized in Nandan. Present on the dais where the hon'ble Minister of Social Welfare Mr. Biswanath Chowdhury, actress Mrs. Moonmoon Sen, her daughter Ms. Raima Sen and actor Mr Barun Chanda. Mr. Ghosh thanked the Govt. for helping to make the film festival a success.
The renowned film personality Mr. Victor Banerjee was presented a memento by Mrs. Preeti Roy. Our member Mr. Banerjee had come all the way from Mussoorie to grace the occasion. Mr. Avijit Ghosh GM and our social worker Ms. Lina Das were also present.
